This is a site I built in conjunction with my friend Eric Poppleton and Henning Serritslev as a demonstration of integrating Flash with QTVR images.

It's done in Flash 5, around 2000. If I were to do this site today, it'd be exceuted and designed in a completely different way, but it's a fun example of cutting edge technology for it's time and has some really great QTVR, including Cubic QTVR examples.

Five Minute World
On October 12, 2005 at the Mobile Imaging Summit executive conference, a major work of art was created live in front of an audience, in a collaborative process involving over one hundred individuals in countries ranging from Brazil to Indonesia. Entitled “The 5 Minute World”, the project was the brainchild of a team composed of Alexis Gerard, President of Future Image; Rick Smolan, author and creator of the best-selling photography books in history including the Day in the Life and America 24/7 books ; and pioneering digital artist Laurence Gartel.

Provided backend technology to collect and deliver, real time before the audience, images to facilitate this event.

Kinda crude design, but, hey, when I had a day to do the thing, it's workable.
